Itinerary
Expand allDay 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Base Camp 3,200 m
Collect your group at the hotel or riad and travel across the Haouz plain, through the Moulay Brahim gorge and Asni, into the Ait Mizane Valley. Reach Imlil at 1,740 m, meet the mule team and follow the trail towards Aremd. Continue to Sidi Chamharouch for a picnic, then climb through alpine scenery to the base camp. Approximately 1.5 hours transfer and 5 hours walking. Overnight in a tent or refuge according to the selected option.
Day 2: Base Camp – Toubkal 4,167 m – Imlil – Marrakech
Start very early and ascend through the ravine to the pass at 3,975 m and then to the summit. Enjoy 360-degree views from Toubkal before descending for a picnic. Continue the long descent to Imlil and return to Marrakech. Approximately 9–10 hours walking and 1 hour by car.
