Itinerary
Expand allDay 1: Marrakech – Ait Bougumez – Ikhf n Ighir 1,850 m
Meet your guide and driver and travel via Demnate to Ait Bougumez, passing villages and mountain valleys. In the late afternoon, walk through the fields before returning to Ikhf n Ighir. Approximately 5 hours. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 2: Ikhf n Ighir – Zaouit Ahansal – Amezrai
Enjoy a sunrise walk and a local farm activity. After breakfast, walk along the Ait Hkim Valley, then drive to Zaouit Ahançal. Continue up Oued Ahançal to the entrance of the Taghia Gorges. Arrive at Amezrai in the late afternoon. Approximately 3 hours by car and 4 hours walking. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 3: Amezrai – La Cathédrale – Marrakech
After breakfast, walk along Oued Ahançal and then drive to the rock formation known as La Cathédrale, with an optional ascent. Continue to Bin El Ouidane Lake and Azilal before returning to Marrakech. Approximately 6 hours by car.
