Expand allMarrakech – Imlil – Aremd – Marrakech
Travel south of Marrakech across the Haouz plain, with its olive trees, apricots and cacti. Follow the Moulay Brahim gorge to Asni, then enter the Ait Mizane Valley, where villages cling to terraces above the road. Reach Imlil at the foot of Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa. Walk to Aremd, enjoy the views and have lunch on a terrace before returning to Marrakech. The walk can be extended if desired. Approximately 3 hours of road travel in total. An optional Asni souk visit is possible on Saturday, and the Tahanaoute souk on Tuesday. Women’s cooperatives producing argan oil can be visited around Tahanaoute and Imlil.
